By this time Pete and I were raring to go and gigging all over the place! Chart topping skiffler Chas McDevitt showed up at one of our gigs (Addlestone folk club I think) and offered us a chance to record a single for Columbia - we were thrilled! I was so excited that I sang the wrong words on one verse and we had to go back into the studio to record it again!
